
U2 8ta Mega Music partnership
As a key player in the music and entertainment sponsorship market, MEGAPRO Marketing is proud to have brokered the commercialisation of the 2011 U2 360° tour presented by 8ta.
U2 made history as the first band to stage a live concert in FIFA World Cup Stadia in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. 8ta was provided with a mechanism through which to tap into the global Zeitgeist that is U2. The tour also provided benefits of association that talked to aspiration and success. Associating the 8ta brand with the U2 360° degree tour provided a basket of marketing opportunities for this growing brand, and assisted 8ta to converse with its target audiences in meaningful ways.
